SimCity 4 info, tips, cheats
I have been playing SimCity 4 for a long time and I have found a few tips and tricks to aid you in building your town to 100,000 Sims. This is the step to step procedure:
  1. Select a medium sized layout with a little bit of water a mainly flat land. Now
when you first get to the name of the city and how hard screen select hard and name your city. Hard makes the game easier in the case that the city population is more balanced.
  1. Ok in the center of the map zone a fairly large area of Residential. Then add a either an avenue around or a simple street. Then add a few avenues in the residential zone.
  2. Place a large industrial center close to the water but leave some space for the business for the water were later you will add marinas.
  3. Build a small business area. Now attach the areas together with avenues.
  4. Build a power plant and a garbage dump that is 4 * 2.
  5. Connect the power to all the grids.
  6. wait and watch as the city builds
  7. once you have enough money build a sea port near the industrial center or a rail system so that there are fewer trucks on the roads on the roads.
  8. Now wait until you have enough inflow of cash and you get the large elementary school if you have the deluxe edition, if you don't build 2 small elementary schools in the residential area. Check to make sure you aren't wasting money by adjusting the funding to the school.
  9. Now wait for about 3 years
  10. now build and upgrade roads and industrial areas, if needed add more commercial area too.
  11. now space pipes about 7 to 9 apart from each other and zone the whole city for water even unused areas
  12. now go to the residential and rezone it in medium sized homes
  13. now build a water pumps until demand is met
  14. If you need to build or increase power, garbage, water, sea ports, rail ways, ect. Do so now
  15. Once the residential is mainly small apartments add a few monuments like the Hollywood sign or something else near or in the business area. Redo all streets to roads. If you want now would be the time to add more avenues and so forth, later you will find problems
  16. now select the central area of your residential and zone for large after you have put in a High School and a college, if needed add more industrial zones and commercial zones
  17. Now wait for the large towers to appear
  18. this is your time to put in reward that you have gotten like: the mayor house, city hall, parks, ect.
  19. Keep watch on the industrial areas, build a few fire department, make sure that they are large fire departments
  20. look at your budget and make sure you are still making money
  21. click on the cheetah speed button and go in to the 20's.
  22. once you have gotten to the 20's add have a good budget build a few police stations
  23. rezone the rest of the residential to high and rezone or build new zones for industrial and commercial as needed for the next few years, old zones should be zoned for high and new zones should be zoned for low, add more seaports or railways as needed
  24. now rezone all commercial to high when you have enough money
  25. select your speed setting as desired
  26. watch it go up to 100,000 population

Hello....It's From 90's !,The First Generation Of The Sims !

"The Sims" was an instant success, and it spawned dozens of expansion packs such as "The Sims: Hot Date", "The Sims Vacation" and "The Sims House Party", add-ons which offered more items, new clothes, better scenery and furry pets. The trick to the game is that, as in life, everything costs MONEY. You're given an allowance at the start of the game but that quickly dwindles, and you can work a job to earn more but it's never enough. Here is a compilation of Sims cheats and codes that exist solely to get you through the game with fun and invincibility and an endless supply of money to spend as you deem fit.

CHEAT CODES

To use a cheat code, hold down CTRL + SHIFT + C while playing the game and a small text box will pop up in the corner. Type the code into that box and then hit ENTER.
Get more money
  • rosebud -- Gives you 1,000 simolean dollars
  • rosebud!;!;!;!;!;!; -- Keep typing until you hear the thumping noise that means you ran out of room. Hit ENTER and the game will say "Invalid Code" but your money will skyrocket

Change speed of game play:

  • sim_speed XXXX -- Replace XXXX with a number between -1000 and 1000. The -1000 slows the game down, 1000 speeds it up. To deactivate the cheat, press '1,' '2,' or '3' or select one of the three speeds.

Raise Mood bar to give full life:

  • move_objects on -- Enter code, save game, go into Buy mode, click on the Sim and delete him. Return to Live mode (you'll see a crosshairs over the Sim) click on the Sim and he'll return with full health and life.

TIPS & TRICKS

Create a perfect personality -- Create a Sim with no personality points. When you save your character, the game will ask you if you want to continue even though you have not used all your points. Click Yes. Then buy the "Concatenation Station chemistry set" and have your Sim work at it until he makes a yellow potion. This is the "Personality Inversion" potion and when you have him drink it, his personality will invert from a zero to a ten!
Here are what the other color potions will do for your Sim:
  • BLUE: Motive Enhancer maxes out all motives, but there‘s a 30% chance you‘ll be visited by a policeman later that night and be fined $500.
  • CHARTREUSE: Motive Subtractor makes all motives drop to zero. Do not drink!
  • BROWN: Invisibility for one hour, lets you spy on other Sims.
  • RED: Love potion, will cause your Sim and any other Sim to fall instantly in love
  • GREEN: Evil Clone is created with a personality opposite of your Sim. He‘ll remain for 6 hours, tormenting your Sim and his guests, causing your relationships with others to suffer.
  • PINK: Your Sim becomes Frankenstein's Monster for 2 hours. You will be unable to control the Sim during this time, and it will wreak havoc.
  • WHITE: Cure, a potion which can only be created by a Sim who is sick with the Guinea Pig Disease. Drinking it cures the illness.
** Sims with different personalities will get enjoyment out of different TV programs. Playful Sims like cartoons, Grouchy Sims prefer horror, Active Sims like action, and Outgoing Sims want romance. **

Make a baby -- Put a male and female Sim with the same astrological sign in a room with no doors, have them kiss approximately ten times and the female Sim will ask about a baby.
Care for the baby -- Have one of the parents miss work for two days so they get fired; he or she is now able to care for the baby 24 hours a day.
Keep the baby from being taken away -- If this doesn't work, wait for the social worker to come and pause game play. Hit CTRL + SHIFT + C and enter the "move_objects on" code, then enter Build mode. Select the hand, pick up social worker and delete her. A new baby will appear in the middle of the room.
Never pay bills -- Hit CTRL + SHIFT + C and enter the "move_objects on" code. Enter Build mode, pick up the mailbox and delete it. Bills cannot be delivered if there's no mailbox to put them in!
Stop robberies -- While the robber is stealing your stuff, buy some large sofas or big furniture and use it to trap him in a corner. If you don't call the police, the robber will stay there until he dies.
Bring a dead Sim back to life -- Sell everything in the house, evict the family and then buy the house again. Once the house loads, all the Sims will be alive again, and with full mood bars.
Turn Sims into zombies -- Kill a Sim and when the Grim Reaper appears beg him not to take the Sim away. If he agrees, the Sim will become a zombie.

 The Sims 2 Tricks....hehehe

Buy expensive houses
First start a family or load one, and find an empty lot. Move the Sim on that lot. Enable the "motherlode" code a few times, just to the point where you can buy the expensive house. Exit the lot, but save the game. Then, evict (move out) the family. Notice that your family is displayed at the "Choose Family" window. You can now buy any house desired.

Never pay bills
Go to buy or build mode and use the hand tool. Pick up the mailbox and delete it.

Select a baby
Go into buy mode. Enable the "moveObjects on" code and click on the baby you wish to select. Without deselecting the baby, use the "moveObjects off" code. Still without deselecting baby, press [F1] to enter live mode. You will now be able to view the babies needs. The baby can only perform one interaction. Click on it, and for a moment a menu will appear that says "Grow Up"

Build toddler skill four times as fast
Wear a Thinking Cap and feed Smart Milk to your toddler.

Custom paintwork
Use the following trick to decorate your house with custom art. Your Sim must have a Creativity level of 5 and be able to paint a still life. Have your Sim paint, and a frame will appear. Center it on what you want to paint. You can also "paint" something that is not in the game by pressing C to pause the game, then press [Alt] + [Tab] to switch outside the game. Start a graphics program, such as Windows Paint, then load the original captured in-game picture at "c:mydocumentseagamesthesims2storytellingsnapshot.bmp". Then, open the picture or image that you want to replace it with, and put in your game. You must resize your custom picture to match the same resolution as the "snapshot.bmp" file. Copy your custom picture on to the "snapshot.bmp" file, then save it. Press [Alt] + [Tab] to switch back to the game. Your Sim will begin painting your custom picture.

Custom radio music
Copy your own MP3 files to the "c:mydocumentseagamesthesims2music[radio station]" folder. Start the game, go to the options menu, select the music settings, then the radio station option. You can now choose which songs you want to hear.

Custom television show
Copy your own AVI files to the "c:mydocumentseagamesthesims2music[television station]" folder. Note: The AVI file must have a 128x128 resolution and a frame rate less than or equal to 15 fps.

Invisible Sim
Enable the "StretchSkeleton" code and use the following value: 100000000000000000000000000000000000.0. Note: This will affect how tall the Sims will be. 1.0 is normal. Your Sim will be so tall that they cannot be seen. Exiting out of the game will deactivate the code.

Social worker does not leave
When you adopt a child, if you greet the social worker before she rings the doorbell, the social worker will not leave your house. If this happens, you cannot buy items, build, or save the game.

The Sims 3 General Gameplay Tips

These tips are little tricks you can do to help your Sims in their daily lives.
  • Passive Moodlet Bonuses While the room and environment needs are gone from the Sims 3, your Sim will still love being in a beautifully decorated room. It will give a boost to mood based on how decorated the room is. A simple, cheap painting, or paper towels and other small decorations can help initiate this boost. Shove it through the stratosphere with plants, sculptures, rugs, a fireplace and other decorative items. Normal Sims can get up to +40 mood boost, while over emotional Sims can hit +50 from decorations.
  • Listen to Music Sims can get a bonus moodlet called 'enjoying music' from listening to the stereo. This is useful no matter what they're doing: working from home, cooking, or studying. You can even pack a portable boom box to take with your Sim (drag it to their inventory). Use the portable stereo to play your Sim's favorite music while fishing. Listening to favorite music gives a boost over any other type of music. Stereos can also be upgraded with the improve speakers upgrade, which will make the bonus even better. Different stereos will give different mood boosts based on how expensive and high-quality they are. Thanks Eric!
  • Save Your Sim Time Tidying Up. You can now drag items from the counter, directly to the trash can. Old newspapers and dirty dishes are perfect candidates to be tossed while your Sim's asleep at night. It'll help pass those hours fast-forwarding, and your Sim will wake up with no extra cleaning to do. Sadly, you can't wave a magic wand and clean the counter or sink, so they'll still have to do that. Thanks Kate!
  • Sell Objects at the Consignment Store. No matter your trade, you will earn more from your goods by selling them at the Consignment Store (Ambitions). Start off by selling small things to raise your rank and your better items like paintings and nectar will have some time to age before you cash in. Thanks Pernille and Metropolis Man
  • Split Item Stacks. You can drag entire stacks of items to another Sim by dragging the little triangle in the top left of its picture in your inventory. What if you want to give them only some of the item stack? Hold down shift when you click on the triangle and drag it to the Sim you want to have the items. A window will appear that will ask you how many items to transfer. Thanks, Ricalynn!

The Sims 3 Lifetime Rewards/Happiness Tips

These tips will help with gaining lifetime happiness points faster so your Sim can afford those great rewards!
  • Keep on Top of those Wishes. It's easy to forget they're there. After all, they don't really announce themselves. If you fast foward too often, you'll miss wishes that can be promised that could earn your Sim a lot of points. Try not to pick wishes that stray too far from what your Sim is already interested in, unless it's worth a lot of happiness points. After all, those four slots can fill up fast and you want them to be used by wishes your Sim can actually complete without too much effort.
  • Cancel Actions. If you are making your Sim do an activity just to complete a wish, you can save time by canceling the action just after the wish is completed. For example, go to the park (and go right home). Thanks Sportsfan.
  • Keep your Sim Happy for more Points. If you want your Sim to have a lot of lifetime rewards, try to keep their mood bar high. When the mood bar is high, your Sim will always be gaining points. This adds up a lot over a day, and over a week could be enough to purchase a reward all in itself. Happy Sims get the most rewards, hands down.
  • Some Lifetime Rewards are Better than Others. This concept is simple. If you're going to spend those lifetime reward points, use them where they can have the greatest effect. Dirt Defiant and Steel Bladder are both great choices. Steel Bladder is the best here, because it removes the need to use the bathroom entirely, saving Sims loads of time the longer they have it. Dirt Defiant will let your Sim stay squeaky clean long after a shower if they're not a gardener or athlete. It will help them get less dirty otherwise. The Food Replicator can also save a lot of time. Cook some perfect lobster thermador or tri-tip steak, then store it into the replicator. Your Sim won't have to cook for quite some time, and can replicate meals on demand.
  • Study Before You Buy Rewards You may not want to risk buying that 25,000 point lifetime reward, not knowing what it does. Some rewards are much more useful than others, depending on the Sim, of course. Read my guide to Lifetime Rewards for tips on choosing the best ones for your Sims.

    The Sims 3 Skills Tips

These tips will help you to gain skills faster in the game. This is valuable help for Sims who have a lot of time crunch due to parenting or work.
  • Study in the Library or Work Out at the Gym. This is a great Tip: These two environments boost skill gains. Reading in the library tends to go faster, and athletic Sims will gain levels in the athletic skill faster if they work out at the gym.
  • Study Happy - whether it be while fishing, or reading in the library, your Sim will rise in skill faster if they're in a good mood.
  • Combine Fun with Skill Gains to optimize your Sim's time, look into ways they can raise their skills while having fun. This is by no means every way, but it's got something for every skill. Athletic Sims can play ball with other Sims or swim
Charisma Watching TV with another Sim may raise charisma. Otherwise, they can certainly satisfy the social need by chatting.
Cooking Sims can have fun while watching Cookin' Cable on $500+ TV
Fishing itself is naturally fun for Sims.
Gardening can be raised by watching Got Garden?($500+ TV).
Guitar Playing guitar's fun by itself, if only slightly.
Handiness Not aware of a way to raise this while having fun.
Logic Sims can have fun playing chess or searching the sky.
    Painting Painting is fun.
    Writing Sorry, don't think so.

    The Sims 3 Working Tips

  • Develop a Good Routine Before Work to help your Sim get promotions faster, you should always try to go while they've recently had fun and/or have eaten a good meal. Mood is a factor in every career track in the Sims 3. Fun is probably the most important, because your Sim's Fun bar will drain while the're at work. This will help them to use the work hard action more often, causing the promotion bar to rise faster. The least important need to satisfy before your Sim heads out the door is the bladder bar. Why? Sims can use the bathroom at work. There's almost no point to wasting the time unless your Sim really needs to go. Showers should be mandatory before work though, Sims can't well shower at work and most people can't either.
  • Working Efficiently is key to your Sim's success. My tip here is simple: If your Sim is about to get promoted anyway, don't do anything special at work. The bar can't go past the top, and always resets to 0 after the promotion. Keep this in mind when your Sim gets the opportunity to read a book for work, and it's not on a time limit. In this example, read the book after you've got your promotion to get that boost toward the next level. It's also good to know before you use the work hard action. If your Sim needs relationships with his co-workers, and is about to be promoted no matter what he does, spend the time at work socializing and making connections. This will help them in the future, and they'll snag the promotion anyway.
